After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Austin-East offense stepped up its game and put 12 points on the board in the second quarter. Halls put up 7, so the score was 12-7 at the half. The offense for Austin-East continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 18 points to put the game away. The match pushed Halls down to 2-3 and pulled Austin-East up to the reverse at 3-2.
Austin-East will stay at home next week against Scott at 7:30 PM. Scott took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Austin-East's good fortune. Halls will be staying on the road, facing off against Knoxville Central.
